Womens 50+ Shinny - Thursday Mornings at LiUNA 4 Ice Centre

Women aged 50+ are welcome to join Shinny every Thursday from 10:00–11:30 AM at LiUNA 4 Ice Centre.

  • Cost:
    • $10 with online reservation HERE
    • $12 for drop-in
    • Goalies of any age are welcome!

No commitment required—just come out, have fun, and enjoy the game!

Last year, two incredible teams of HWHL women hit the ice to raise money for a great cause. Players of all skill levels came together to skate alongside NHL alumni, share laughs, and hear inspiring stories from trailblazing women in hockey.

This year, we’re aiming even higher — and we’d love for you to be part of it!

Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting out, everyone is encouraged to join. We'll build balanced teams from all participants, and yes — you can request a teammate if you'd like to play with a friend!

It’s a day of fun, connection, and celebration of the brilliant women who make up HWHL. Don’t miss your chance to hit the ice with legends and make lasting memories.

Schedule & Rosters

Both the season schedule and rosters are available on our website and through the sportsengine app.

 
Game Locations
Please ensure you are checking your schedule each week so you arrive at the correct rink.
 
All divisions with the exception of Division 3 will play 15 games at Gateway and 7 games at Mohawk 4 Ice.
 
 
Special Game Date:   SAT DEC 6
Teams in Divisions 2 and 3 will play their games on Saturday, December 6 at Gateway, instead of the usual Sunday. Please make note of this change and check your schedule carefully to ensure you're at the correct rink.

Trouble Viewing Your Team in the App?

If you're seeing a message that your team is "private" and can't access it, try these quick steps:

  1. Log out of the app, then log back in.
  2. Make sure you're signed in with the SportsEngine profile you used during registration.

This usually resolves the issue!
